Zoku provides a home for business travelers who want to live in a city for between a few days and a few months. We’re a new type of business hotel offering a relaxed place to live, co-work and socialize – while wiring residents into the local scene. Based in Amsterdam, you’ll be working closely with our operational team, Marketing team, Meeting and Events team and the Kitchen team. You’ll report directly to our Community Manager. Be prepared for an environment where every day brings a new challenge and endless opportunities to connect and create!
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
No day looks the same as a Community & Events Intern… but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:
Event Extraordinaire: Get ready to put your planning hat on! Teaming up with our Community Manager, you'll be the brains behind our epic event programming. From researching similar events in the city, scouting for decorations and welcoming our attendees; you'll ensure every detail is spot-on for a flawless experience.
Admin Maestro: Picture yourself as the ultimate juggler, helping the Community Manager with anything related to the administration of events; answering emails, keeping internal documents on point and preparing for upcoming events.
Community Champion: Ever dreamt of being a connector and driving positive social impact? Well, now's your chance! You'll be the driving force behind our beloved community rituals bringing people together like Community Dinner and Fika.
Connection Connoisseur: With your charm and wit, you'll be the life of the party! Engaging with our guests, answering their burning questions, and showing our guests around – you'll be the face of our unique hospitality concept, leaving a lasting impression wherever you go.

A FEW MUST HAVES
- You are a student who is looking to get valuable experience as an intern as part of your MBO+, HBO (college), Master degree, undergraduate degree or placement year ideally in the fields Hospitality or Leisure Management.
- You are fluent English; other languages are a plus.
- You are an EU resident or have a valid working and living permit for the Netherlands.
- You are available for min. 6 months and flexible for working days/hours.
- You love to work, as we'll need you full-time.
- You are available to start in August/ September 2024.
