Job Description
The Excursion Guide at Villa Haven will be responsible for leading and coordinating various guest excursions, including island tours, snorkelling trips, fishing expeditions, and cultural visits. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep knowledge of the local environment and culture, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Excursion Guide, Tour Guide, or in a similar role, preferably within the hospitality or tourism industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of the local environment, culture, and history of the Maldives.
- Ability to engage and entertain guests of all ages and backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle and resolve guest issues and concerns with professionalism and tact.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work in a remote island setting and adapt to a tropical climate.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification is preferred.
