Sales & Marketing Internship

Provides first-class service to push the sales of a certain product. Acts as an intermediary between producers and clientele.
• Makes necessary phone calls and meetings to assist the department
• Provide hotel visits for clients/groups.
• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
• Perform market analysis and research on competition
• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
• Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
• Prepare promotional presentations
• Help distribute marketing materials
• Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems
• Help organize marketing events
• Assist in contract preparation
• Prepare proposals and their distribution and follow up
• Assist with internal promotional activities and preparation
• Assist with last minute client requests
• During the internship (depending of the period): market research on the leisure segment, telemarketing on Mice/corporate/government segment.
• Handling internal and external telephone calls and properly follow up on these calls
• Careful and accurate when processing oral or written communication/information

• Fluent in English/French /Dutch
• Must posess eligebility to work in the E.U.
• Ardent desire to learn along with professional drive
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Must always be dressed in accurate business attire – no jeans or slacks, baskets etc
• Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Google Adwords)
• Familiarity with Office application (MS Office)
• Familiarity with OPERA PMS system
• Passion for the Sales & Marketing industry and its best practices
• Fluent in English/French /Dutch
