KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Overview/Job Summary:

Target, solicit and cultivate business from the North America market for our European Hotels. Practice total account management to maintain and grow current business and increase revenue from luxury travel agencies, 3rd party meeting planners, corporate direct meeting and incentive buyers and celebration planners. Serve as a Rosewood Hotels & Resorts ambassador to the customer, with system-wide responsibility. Implement ad-hoc European B2B marketing activities to efficiently respond to growing regional needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Sales Key Activities):

• Pro-actively target and solicit new business from within the US and Canada market, for TA & MICE, as well developing and managing relationships with the existing account base through telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections/FAMs and written communication.

• Reach and exceed room night and revenue targets.

• Creatively develop and design new ideas, applications, relationships to continue driving business.

• Maintain all contacts, account, activities and booking information in Global CRM tool as per corporate standards.

• Conduct continuous client entertainment, familiarization trips and weekly client appointments.

• Provide regular input and update of the Hotel Sales and Marketing Plan, accurately interpreting the objectives of the business and proactively targeting future need periods.

• Communicate changes in market conditions to provide effective and timely solutions to minimise any detrimental effects to the business.

• Develop SMART key account plans and strategies, detailing objectives, timelines, and sales methods to support the defined account opportunity.

• Accurately identify the level of influence and decision-making power of contacts in the customer organisation and use these to secure business.

• Attend and contribute to sales meetings, relevant management meetings, and ad-hoc training sessions to develop and implement local marketing initiatives.

• Assist Cluster Director of Sales in preparation of the department budget and overall sales objectives and strategies of the hotels within the European collection.

• Generate and provide timely and accurate results in the form of ad-hoc reports and presentations.

• Assist Cluster Direct of Sales with employee review, evaluations, hiring and onboarding of new team members.

• Coach, mentor, and guide sales coordinators to successfully perform their duties ensuring optimization and usage of existing sales technology and adherence to brand standards.

• Professionally represent Rosewoods European portfolio in community and industry organizations and events as needed.

• Establish, enhance, and maintain productive quality working relationships with key internal and external customers.

• Support the hotel service philosophy and provide feedback and guidance on how to improve where necessary.

• Up-to-date knowledge of Rosewood brand and luxury hotel industry.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Run and audit referral business reports and ensure tracking is accurate, connecting and communicating with hotels.

• Build and deliver Rosewood European educational webinars/eDMs according to business needs, to support the hotels and B2B marketing efforts within the US and Canada markets.

• Any additional language, which is pertinent to the geographical location of hotels in Europe, is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to endure various physical movements throughout the work areas, reach up and down, remain stationary at times throughout work periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and satisfactorily communicate with guests and co-workers to their understanding.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of an international degree in Hotel Management or Marketing and progressive work-related experience.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3+ years hotel experience - luxury brand preferred.

This position is open to candidates based in Los Angeles, CA or New York. The salary range for this position is $85,000-$95,000 annually. This is the pay range for this position that the company reasonably expects to pay. This position also may be eligible for bonuses. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience, type of experience, location, and education.
