USA - Paid Professional Culinary and Internship

For this program, we are hiring for roles in both Culinary and Pastry.

Participants in the Culinary program will be paid $17.25 per hour and will follow the below rotations.
Garde Manger - Banquet Operations
Garde Manger - Restaurant Operations
Saucier
Hot Station
Cold Station
Participants in the Pastry program will be paid $17.25 per hour and will follow the below rotations.
Baker
Banquet Pastries
Restaurant Pastries

Housing at this property is provided in the form of furnished accommodation. This accommodation, is located 2 miles away from the work location, and is $200 per week.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PROGRAM AS A J-1 INTERN or TRAINEE, YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

Be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.

Speak fluent English.

Be available for the full length of the contract.

Be currently enrolled in full-time education at a University outside of the United States.

Studying towards an undergraduate degree in Culinary Arts, Tourism, Hospitality or Events related subject OR have graduated from these studies no more than 12 months prior to your program start date.

Be a graduate from an undergraduate degree in Culinary Arts, Tourism, Hospitality or Events related subject PLUS at least one year of related work experience in this industry. This experience must have been obtained outside of the United States.

If you have not studied at University level, you must have at least five-years full time work experience in the tourism/hospitality/events industry to qualify. This experience must have been obtained outside of the United States.
