Housekeeping & Laundry Attendant

- Makes beds, does thorough dusting and vacuums floors and self releases rooms as ''vacant inspected'; Removes room service dishes and amenity presentations to the service area
- Handles "Do Not Disturb" “Safety Latch” and "Double Lock" rooms according to Hotel policy
- Carefully reads and follows the task sheet instructions
- Removes room service dishes and amenity presentations to the guest areas.
- Maintains pars established in all guest rooms for linen and supplies
- Transports linen from Laundry to the Housekeeping pantry areas.
- Is responsible to stack the Housekeeping pantry as per the set standards.
- Assumes responsibility for master keys and other equipment as assigned
- Reports all maintenance requirements in rooms assigned on a daily basis
- Ensures follow up on maintenance requirements in the areas assigned.
- Is responsible for laundry operations for guest and staff.
- Issuing of uniforms, tagging and processing.
- Does minor garment repairs as required; adheres to the 'unprocessed garment' procedure
- Assists in routine inventory taking of supplies and operating equipment
- Vacuum and mop all floors, including under rugs and in corners.
- Vacuum carpets and spot clean as needed. If directed, polish marble floors.
- Dust & clean all banquet’s hall, including ceiling, tops of cabinets, doors, door frames, and curtain rods
- Clean all area’s mirror and glass.
- Dust and clean inside of all cabinet and furniture drawers.
- Clean switch plates on walls.
- Vacuum upholstered furniture including under cushions. If directed, clean upholstered furniture.
- All carpeting and upholstery is to be vacuumed and professionally shampooed.
- Clean and Dust all lamps and lamp shades. Clean all ceiling light fixtures.
- Polish furniture surfaces.
- Dust & Clean all restaurants & Bar
- Clean All guest washroom & Disinfected
- Clean All Offices including manager cabin, Sale’s office & Back office
- Clean all staircase
- Clean & Wash all parking’s & Outside area
- Clean and sanitize the back of the house areas along with staff lockers.
