Job Brief
The Night/Duty Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of the facility or establishment, maintaining security protocols, and managing staff on duty.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Represent Senior Management during the night and be the main contact of all guests, staffs and local authorities.
- To be fully responsible for the entire Resort Operations at night.
- To assist all departments operations at nighttime.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Handle any customer inquiries, requests, or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, taking appropriate action and notifying management as necessary.
- Schedule and assign duties to night shift employees.
- Provide training and support to new and existing staff members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues or concerns.
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues effectively.
- Assist with check-ins/check-outs and other guest services as needed.
- Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers and staff.
- Complete nightly reports and documentation accurately.
- To ensure that all accounting procedures are carried out in accordance with Hotel policies and procedures (petty cash/cash advance/paid out /payments…).
Candidate's Profile:
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or other related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literate ( Knowledge in Opera will be an advantage).
- Proven experience in a middle managerial or managerial role, preferably in hospitality sector.
