Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef to join our culinary team at Coco’s Kitchen + Bar for a fixed-term 6 month contract. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a deep love for the art of baking. Responsibilities include crafting a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods, designing innovative and seasonal menus, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

The successful candidate should have professional culinary training, experience in a similar role, and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. If you are a team player with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, we would love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications and previous experience in the hotel industry preferred
• Knowledge of food safety requirements
• Service oriented with an eye for detail
• Time management skills with the ability to multitask  
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members 
• Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change
