Job Description

  • Join our whanau where you will assist in overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of a 5-star hotel, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our guests and team members
  • Utilize your mechanical and technical skills to maintain and repair essential equipment, contributing to the hotel's operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Work closely with various departments and external contractors to swiftly address maintenance issues or concerns, ensuring all areas of the hotel are functional and inviting
  • Help maintain comprehensive records of repairs and preventative maintenance, ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with hotel standards
  • Be part of Accor’s sustainable initiative, contributing to energy-saving and recycling efforts to promote environmental sustainability within the hotel


Qualifications

You will have:

  • At least 5+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or higher in a medium to large Hotel
  • A Certified Electrical Qualification
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including refrigeration, air conditioning, and boilers
  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and proficiency with computer systems
  • Leadership abilities to manage a maintenance team, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with various departments and external contractors
  • The ability to identify and implement effective maintenance solutions, ensuring the hotel remains at peak operational efficiency and providing a superior guest experience.
  • Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
