Job Description

The spa manager is responsible for the oversight of all spa operations. This includes the leadership of spa teams, supporting the overall spa, fitness operation, quality, and guest experience, as well as team motivation, which is a key component to managing and overseeing the daily operations. The spa manager must ensure colleague satisfaction, guest satisfaction, financial success, health and safety, and environmental stewardship.

  • Ensuring that we provide a warm welcome and personalized service to all guests visiting the spa as per the resort policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Supervise and train team members, ensuring their efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure all payment transactions are accurate at the end of each day, reporting any discrepancies to the immediate superiors or concern reporting line.
  • Understands the impact of department operations on the overall financial goals and objectives of the property and manages to meet or exceed budgeted goals.
  • Provide retail recommendations to guests tailored to their specific needs.
  • Deals with customer problems and complaints and reports accidents and injuries to management in accordance with the hotel reporting procedure.
  • Emphasizes customer satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focuses on continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the spa area is kept clean and free of clutter, and the retail display is presented elegantly and appropriately replenished at all times.
  • Assist and coordinate the onboarding of new hires.



Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of hospitality industry and spa management experience.
  • Positive and can-do attitude.
  • Good communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Committed to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Having the capability to lead, manage, and train the spa team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team.
