Job Description
The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities at Villa Haven. This role requires a meticulous and strategic individual with a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and leadership experience within the hospitality industry. The Financial Controller will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with industry standards, and provide strategic financial guidance to support the resort’s goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
