Job Description
The Executive Pastry Chef will be responsible for overseeing all pastry and bakery operations, ensuring the highest standards of dessert and baked goods quality, presentation, and service. This role requires a creative and experienced pastry professional with excellent leadership skills and a deep commitment to excellence. The Executive Pastry Chef will collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to design and implement innovative dessert and bakery menus that enhance the guest experience at Villa Haven.
Qualifications
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 3 years of international experience in luxury 5-star hotels or resorts as an Executive Pastry Chef, with practical involvement in leading and managing pastry team.
- Must have strong knowledge of pastry & bakery techniques, ingredients, and equipment's.
- Must have an outgoing, energetic and positive personality.
- Creative and capable of developing exciting menu offerings.
- Must have excellent knowledge of HACCP and other food safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible to work around guest demands with an eye for detail.
- Ability to prioritise guest needs and always maintain a courteous demeanour.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a remote location and adapt to a flexible schedule.
