At Kalahari Resorts & Conventions the kitchens are great places to work! Hone, learn, and show off your culinary flair as you prep and cook in one of our four kitchens - Sortino's Italian Restaurant, B-Lux Grill & Bar, Banquets Kitchen, and Great Karoo Breakfast Buffet. Train and cross train in various kitchens that cover Americana cuisine, fine dining, banquets and conventions, and everything in between Ensure that all food products are consistently prepared and served according to the recipes, portioning, cooking, and presentation standards. Kitchen equipment to be operated, but not limited to are: - Flat grill, Pasta well, Steam table, Browning oven, Cheese chopper/grater, Steam jacket, Ovens, Top Burners, Pizza and Dessert Cooler, Slicer, Broiler, Steamer, and Knives.
