Banquet Supervisor

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Banquet Supervisor to join our team at The Hotel. Brussels. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong focus on the Banquets & Events Operations. Flexibility to support The Iris restaurant operations occasionally is also part of the deal! This role requires excellent team leadership and management skills, along with a proactive approach to enhancing our events experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership and Team Management:
• Lead, manage, and motivate the banquet team to deliver exceptional service.
• Oversee staff recruitment, training, task allocation, and performance management.
• Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency.
• Events Operations:
• Ensure smooth and efficient daily operations of the banquets/events.
• Maintain high standards of quality, service, and hygiene.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Collaboration and Innovation:
• Collaborate on special event planning and execution.
• Bring creative ideas for themed nights and other initiatives to enhance guest experiences.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Monitor and manage inventory, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Profile

• Experience as Banquet Supervisor or similar role in a high-end hotel.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonalskills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.
• Ability to innovate and bring fresh ideas to the events experience.
• Fluency in both English and French.
