We are now looking for Officer, Corporate Communications to join our Group Headquarter office, who will be responsible for responsible for delivering the communications initiatives through project coordination, media relations, and budget management that would support the business priorities of Shangri-La Group.

As our Officer, Corporate Communications, we will rely on you to:

  • Assist in handling media enquiries and managing the dissemination of information to media
  • Oversee the creation and dissemination of internal and external communication materials
  • Support various communications campaigns, including media relations and pitching to raise awareness and gain exposure for Shangri-La Group
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with key media and digital influencers
  • Lead media and social monitoring and prepare media coverage summaries when required
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and reports on communication initiatives
  • Develop and translate corporate content, including press releases, media interviews, corporate website, video content and social media posts
  • Support on issue management support to the regional and hotel teams


We are looking for someone who has/ is:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English Language, Chinese Language or related discipline
  • 3 years of relevant experience in corporate communications, public relations, media or brand management in a sizable organisation or consultancy
  • Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese, English native speaker is a plus
  • A proven track record in implementing successful communication activities
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to details
  • Proficiency in MS office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and video-editing software
