We are looking for a Chief Accountant!

As a Chief Accountant, we rely on you to:

• Act as a part of Finance Shared Services, manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting section, including accounts payable, general ledger, and utilities.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and month-end/year-end close processes.
• Collaborate with the finance team to develop budgets and financial plans.
• Analyse financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Monitor and analyse accounting data to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by supervisors

We are looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with creating financial statements and general ledger functions as a Senior Accountant or similar position. Experience in the hospitality industry will be a plus.
• Understanding of Hong Kong Financial Reporting Standards
• Proficient in MS Office and finance software applications like ORACLE, SAP and SUN
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Sharp time management skills
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
