We are looking for an Assistant Manager - Ming Pavilion based at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong!

As an Assistant Manager - Ming Pavilion,we rely on you to:

  • Assist Restaurant Manager on management and overall performance in compliance with Hotel Service fundamentals, policies and procedures
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant; work closelywith the Restaurant Manager and Chef in sections appointed on planning of promotions, menu planning, budget control and staff training
  • Provideexcellent service in line with Hotel service standards and exceed guests’ expectations
  • Create new ideas and recommend changes to constantly improve our service standards
  • Ensure that all materials, equipment and machinery are properly used and regularly cleaned, in order to prolong usage
  • Demonstrate a good working relationship with other departments with a high level of communication and cooperation


We are looking for someone who has:

  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience; with 2 years experience in supervisory level at large scale of restaurant operations / Hotel industry
  • Service-oriented with outgoing personality
  • Innovative and strong sense of market trends
  • Presentable with strong leadership skills
  • Proactive, customer and business oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua
