Base Location: Parrot Cay, Turks and Caicos Islands
Department: Culinary
Reports into: Canteen Manager
Tasks/Responsibilities:
- Identifying to the senior chefs of jobs task that need to be completed once their shift is finished,speaking to other cooks of jobs required for their shift & briefed on the day’s events
- Making sure that all storage areas of fresh food & dry store items are kept clean, and the first in first out policy applies
- Enforcing proper handling of high foods e.g. (dairy, meat &seafood) and to be aware of cross contamination
- Never leave fresh produce unattended
- Maintain kitchen hygiene standards practicing
- Making sure that your section in clean & equipment that you were responsible for during the service is clean, before shift changes take place
- Food items should not leave the kitchen without the executive chef’s consent
- Stealing from the kitchen will not be tolerated & could lead to instant dismissal

- Complies with conservative grooming standards as mentioned in our handbook

- Able to multi task and establish priorities.
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling
