Citadines Canal Amsterdam is op zoek naar enthousiaste, nieuwsgierige en actieve Front Office medewerkers om het nieuwste vlaggenschip van The Ascott Limited in Europa te komen versterken!

Onze Citazens, het personeel van Citadines, vormen het hart van het historische erfgoedpand met 93 kamers, een fitnessruimte en een gastenlounge (met eten en drinken) binnen het gebouw.

In de functie van Receptionist ben je betrokken bij en verantwoordelijk voor:

• Het verwachte niveau van service en standaarden leveren aan onze gasten tijdens je diensten
• Jij bent het visite kaartje van ons hotel, je staat al onze gasten vriendelijk te woord en helpt ze met het in- of uitchecken, of helpt ze op weg naar hun bestemming in Amsterdam.
• Verzoeken van gasten of reserveringen tijdig en efficiënt afhandelen, persoonlijk of per telefoon of e-mail
• Nauwkeurig samenwerken met de andere afdelingen om ervoor te zorgen dat alles geregeld is voor onze gasten
• Een vindingrijke probleemoplosser zijn, vrolijk en energiek en altijd op zoek naar nieuwe lokale hangouts om aan te bevelen

Om succesvol te zijn als receptionist zul je:

• Eerder opgedane ervaring is een voordeel, maar een enthousiaste en leergierige houding is veel belangrijker
• flexibel zijn om diensten te draaien (vroeg en, laat) in een roterend 7-dagen patroon (inclusief weekenden)
• Een avonturier zijn, je werk enthousiast benaderen en servicegericht zijn
• Sterke interpersoonlijke vaardigheden hebben met effectieve communicatieve vaardigheden in geschreven en gesproken Nederlands of Engels

Citadines Canal Amsterdam is looking for an enthusiastic, curious and inventive Receptionist to join The Ascott Limited’s newest flagship in Europe!

Our Citazens, being the staff of Citadines, stand at the heart of the historic and heritage property that has 93 rooms, gym and guest lounge (providing a food & beverage offering) within the building.

In the position of Receptionist, you will be engaged to and responsible for:

• Delivering the expected levels of service and standards to our guests during your shifts
• Being the first point of contact of our property, you will offer our guests a warm welcome and help them with the check in or check out or help them on their way in Amsterdam
• Deal with guest or reservations requests in a timely and efficient manner in person or by telephone or email
• Working together closely with the other departments, to make sure everything is arranged for our guests
• Being a resourceful problem solver, upbeat and energetic and always on the lookout for new local hangouts to recommend

To be successful as a Receptionist you will:

• Have previous experience, which is an advantage, but an enthusiastic and eager to learn attitude is much more important
• Be flexible to work shifts (early or late) over a 7-day rotating pattern (including weekends)
• Be an adventure-seeker, enthusiastic approach to your work and service orientated
• Have strong interpersonal skills with effective communication ability in written and spoken Dutch orEnglish
