operations, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Cost Controller to join our team.
Position Overview: We are looking for a meticulous Cost Controller with a strong background
in Food and Beverage (F&B) operations to manage and optimize costs across our organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability
to implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and maintain effective cost control systems and procedures for all F&B
operations.
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels, pricing, and consumption patterns to identify
areas for cost optimization.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory and financial records to ensure accuracy and
compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with purchasing and procurement teams to negotiate favorable pricing and
terms with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain standard recipes and portion sizes to minimize food and beverage
waste.
• Prepare regular reports and forecasts on food and beverage costs, variances, and trends
for management review.
• Work closely with chefs, kitchen staff, and F&B managers to identify opportunities for
cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Provide training and guidance to F&B staff on cost control best practices and
procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related
to cost management in the F&B sector.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost control, preferably in the F&B industry
within the UAE.
• Strong understanding of F&B operations, including inventory management, menu
engineering, and pricing strategies.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate
effectively across departments.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software applications.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks
simultaneously.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations and compliance requirements related to F&B
operations is a plus.
