POSITION OVERVIEW

The Remote Experience Advisor provides seamless service to guests in arranging unique and personalized itineraries for their stay. Itineraries consist of activities, spa, food & beverage, transportation, and any other special arrangements to ensure surprise and delight for every guest. This would be a full-time remote position working an 8-hour shift five days a week. Position would include an internet stipend, company laptop and a comprehensive benefits package, dependent coverage available, paid time off, 401k retirement program with partial match and worldwide travel benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be actively engaged in the sales and booking process of guest activities, spa services, dining options and all special occasion requests.
  • Be actively engaged in all guest communications including phone and email correspondence, itinerary building of future arrivals as well as face to face contact with in-house guests.
  • Ensure that all events are confirmed and reconfirmed for the following day, including coordination with the transportation, the spa and the food and beverage departments to ensure all requests are accommodated.
  • Ensure smooth running of each event to maximize guest satisfaction whilst achieving financial and budget targets.
  • Maximize opportunities to increase activity revenue through upselling by staff.
  • Liaise with Reservations, Transportation, F&B and the Front Desk on the day’s activities, instigating and communicating any changes where necessary. Take the initiative to ensure everything is covered and everyone and informed.
  • Take total ownership of guests that you work with and follow up with them during their stay to ensure that everything is executed as it should be.
  • Propose changes and make recommendations for the improvement of our activities and programs in liaison with the Guest Services Manager.
  • Present new ideas for services offered to ensure that our program offers a wide range of unique activities catering to all ages and physical abilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact positively with both employees and guests.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating activities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policies.
  • Ability to carry, push, and pull heavy loads up to 45 lbs; standing, bending, twisting, and lifting will be required.
