RESPONSIBILITIES
- Starting work professionally and on time.
- Fulfilling the duties assigned by the supervisor and additional duties related to the job.
- To take necessary precautions regarding occupational safety, to use machinery, materials and all equipment in accordance with the instructions. Inform the supervisor immediately of all kinds of malfunctions.
- To know what to do in case of emergency, for example in case of fire or accident, in accordance with our procedure.
- To comply with the quality and standards determined for the kitchen.
- Informing colleagues about quality.
- To inform the employees about the quality and use of food products coming to the establishment.
- It prepares the necessary work methods and necessary cooking standards for the quality preparation of the meals and the efficient working of the personnel.
- It works in coordination with all department heads and makes the necessary directions.
- During the lunch and dinner service, it checks whether the presentation and quality of the meals prepared comply with the developed standards.
- Plans food production in the following stages.
- Increasing the popularity of certain dishes.
- Plans the use of the existing surplus food.
- Minimizes casualties by using excess food efficiently by preventing food from spoiling.
- Performs portion control.
- He personally controls and makes all kinds of sauces made in the kitchen.
- Shows maximum attention in the preparation of the meals and makes the final checks.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least high school graduate, preferably vocational school or university
- Good command of English for Specific Purposes
- Compatible to team work
- Proper diction and presentable
- Responsible
- Friendly and positive attitude towards colleagues
- Trustworthy
