Rixos Qetaifan Island North will comprise a 345-key hotel, along with a souq encompassing 11,000sqm of leasing space, a beach club, a theme park, and a waterpark. The resort will boast panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf. Rixos plans to provide a platform for showcasing Qatar as a tourism destination. One of the country’s biggest draws will be Qetaifan Island North’s Waterpark attraction. The Rig 1938 is the world’s highest tower of its kind, reaching 82 metres.

Job Description

Assistant Park Services Manager

 

  • Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are enforced in the department
  • Identify, develop, and conduct all staff training programs, focusing on their development needs, providing them with new skills to meet the changing needs of the business
  • Prepare and complete all daily or monthly reports also ensuring that the monthly document retention is completed
  • Ensure that there are always sufficient supplies available and give account for month end supplies to be ordered for the housekeeping department
  • Plan, schedule, organize, and oversee work to ensure proper coverage, timely completion, and satisfactory performance
  • Schedule routine inspections of washrooms and public areas, coach employees on deficiencies, and provide corrective action where appropriate
  • Promote housekeeping quality initiatives by conducting inspections
  • Inspect the environment within the organization to ensure it meets the minimum best practice throughout the organization
  • Stand-in for any member of staff that is unavailable to carry out their duties to prevent any unfilled gap
  • Ensure that guests enjoy impeccable services offered by the team members in a timely manner
  • Listen to customers’ complaints and ensure that the complaints are addressed efficiently and effectively
  • Maintain good relationship with managers of other units in the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in a similar capacity
  • Good reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
