Job Description

1. Responsible for operating all of the cooling units in the facility as well as controlling and ensuring the maintenance of the cold rooms.
2. Control the ice-makers and carry out monthly maintenance.
3. Carry out daily general controls and maintenance of the cooling groups and prevent any gas leakages
4. Supervise tasks assigned by his/her manager that are related to the department and position. And distribute it between A/C Technicians.
5. Work on a shift basis and start the shift on time.
6. Must always look clean and proper and wear a uniform.
7. Keep the work space clean and ensure that it is cleaned after the work is complete.
8. Take part in any work that requires the full participation of the Technical Service Department.
9. Work according to the policies, procedures and instructions identified by the Chief Engineer.
10. Take part in the Emergency Response Teams.
11. Carry out all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented at the facilities.
12. Carry out all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description.
13. Must take all measures required for occupational and worker health and comply with all measures taken.

Qualifications

• Education: At least a vocational high school or certificate of proficiency obtained from an apprenticeship training centre.
• Experience: At least 5 years of practical experience required by the job.
• Foreign Language: Not required.
• Courses and Training: Not required.
• Computer Literacy: required.
• Skills: Expected to use non-standard, specific tools and devices related to the job and that can be learned in a few months. If necessary, expected to possess certification in the related field (apprenticeship certification, semi-skilled certification. Expected to possess technical knowledge about the methods, techniques and processes related to certain areas of the job
