POSITION OVERVIEW

The Reservations Manager oversees the daily operations of the reservations department and practices yield management strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The ability to work quickly in high-pressure environment and ability to handle stress.
  • Handle guest complaints, keep reservation team and senior management well informed of any issues and action taken.
  • Display a high level of integrity and professionalism at all times in dealing with guests and employees.
  • Interview, hire and train new staff on the Reservations Team
  • Train to ensure that all reservations staff is familiar with all suite categories, selling techniques, hotel facilities, services, promotions and activities.
  • Select reservations staff, discipline and recommend termination as necessary and conduct performance appraisals.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Flexible schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Positive, engaging, and energetic personality.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with composure.
  • Work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner.
  • Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policies.
  • Ability to carry, push, and pull heavy loads up to 45 lbs; standing, bending, twisting, and lifting will be required.
