About the job



The Bartender is responsible for preparing drinks in the lounge area according to established standards to ensure outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

General Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of menus and promotional items
  • Service guests with all food and beverage requirements in an attentive, courteous manner
  • Upsell food and beverage items to guests
  • Be familiar with the organization of the restaurants, lounges and room service areas
  • Accurately maintain financial records and processes including closing checks and dropping money
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar area, beer lockers, refrigerators and storage areas in accordance with federal, state, local and company codes
  • Listen to, and promptly act to resolve, guest issues and requests
  • Achieve maximum customer satisfaction


 

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Must possess a positive attitude
  • Must be service oriented
  • Must be a team player
  • Knowledge of the practices within the Food & Beverage/Hospitality profession


 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to walk and stand for up to four (4) hours
  • Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch
  • Must be able to lift, push pull up to 15lbs. on a continuous basis
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity


 

Qualification Standards:

Education: High school or equivalent education required.  Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of luxury, boutique food & beverage experience in a similar position

Licenses or Certificates:

Grooming: All colleagues must maintain a neat, and well groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided)

The expected pay range for this position is $20.00 after 90 days.
