The collective agreement minimum gross wage for workers in the hotel and catering industry is € 2.135,- based on full-time employment.
For this position we offer a monthly gross salary from € 3.800,-- with appropriate qualifications and experience.

Housed in an historic 19th century building which was the former headquarters for Erste Group Bank AG, Rosewood Vienna is ideally situated on Petersplatz, one of the most famous squares in Vienna’s Old Town. Located just steps away from the city’s most luxurious shopping and dining and its most famous historical sites, Rosewood Vienna serves as an unsurpassed gateway to one of Europe’s most charming destinations. Rosewood Vienna combines the best of European architecture and design with a refined yet modern style. The hotel offers 100 spacious guestrooms and suites, all of which will feature separate spaces for entertainment and relaxation. The contemporary accommodations merges the past and present through a thoughtful combination of elegant textural and artistic elements and the latest technological features. The project’s design was overseen by A2K Architects and BEHF Corporate Architects in Austria and the London-based Alexander Waterworth Interiors firm. The property features a variety of dining and entertainment options, including a rooftop bar with exceptional views of the city and an intimate restaurant in a garden setting serving European cuisine and carefully crafted beverages appealing to guests and locals alike. Rosewood Vienna also features Sense, A Rosewood Spa, which serves as a private sanctuary for relaxation away from the busy sights and sounds of the city. Additionally, the hotel includes meetings and events spaces to allow for a variety of private gatherings and conferences.

- You are responsible for the preparation and cooking of top-class dishes and their mise en place
- You will be responsible for the training of new colleagues and apprentices and their promotion, leadership and motivation
- Together with your team, you create unforgettable moments for our guests
- You conscientiously adhere to hygiene standards at all times
- In the absence of the Executive Chef, you are responsible for the independent and autonomous management of the kitchen team and take on all administrative tasks
What you need:
- You have completed vocational training and already have several years of professional experience
- You have an open-minded personality and the satisfaction of your team and our guests is particularly important to you
- Your profession is your passion, which is reflected in the quality of your work and your style
- You are very familiar with Austrian hygiene standards and live them wherever you go and stand
- You have very good hosting and communication skills in German & English
