Job Brief
The Chief Gardner should be in close collaboration with the Resident Engineer. He supervises the manpower, materials, Gardening activities and resort supplies
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set work tasks for his subordinates and monitors their progress ensuring good workmanship, standard and quality.
- Requisition materials from the Landscaping stores and ensure the correct usage of the items without wastage or excess to requirement.
- Ensures the cleanness of the island by planning daily cleaning biased on the time frame given by Resident Engineer.
- Ensures the clean and tidy beach by planning daily cleaning biased on the time frame given by Resident Engineer.
- Ensures all the Palm Trees are cleaned time to time and no dry life or coconut by planning scheduled cleaning biased on the time frame given by Resident Engineer.
- Ensures the maintenance of waste disposal area and make sure all the garbage’s are separated by its nature.
- Assists the department in all activities other than gardening.
- Provide appropriate training to Landscaping staff whenever necessary.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Resident Engineer.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 02 years of experience in same position
- Maldives work experience is an added bonus
- Excellent Inter-personal communication skills
- Department: Housekeeping
