As a Private Client Manager at Belmond, you will act as a Brand Ambassador, delivering an exciting and memorable experience to end consumers, creating, stimulating and maximizing sales opportunities, in order to achieve Belmond worldwide sales targets as well as provide excellent service to end consumers.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the sales process and act as a key contact for LVMH VIC clients across Latin America.
  • Develop and engage new guests by providing customized advice and introducing them to the discovery of the Belmond brand.
  • Establish and develop relationships with targeted existing guests to enhance clienteling experience and increase cross portfolio sales achievement.
  • Contribute to Belmond’s KPI achievement and apply all sales related procedures and guidelines. .
  • Develop a detailed quarterly sales action plan and annual end consumer management plan aimed at achieving and exceeding revenue generation goals.
  • Maintain a frequent personal contact with all property-based sales personnel to ensure product knowledge is always up to date and complete alignment of sales strategies. Private Client Manager
  • Establish a close collaboration with all property sales, revenue management and reservations teams and lead all closing efforts from generated transient/direct leads.
  • Establish and nurture a partnership relationship with all key contacts, Directors of Clienteling, decision makers, and influencers within all the LVMH maisons in LATAM.
  • Conduct product training to LVMH maisons on a regular basis to ensure Belmond remains frontof-mind at all times.
  • Communicate all seasonal promotions for the global Belmond portfolio to support all properties achieving their budgeted revenue, especially in shoulder seasons.
  • Make full use of all selling, negotiating and closing tools to increase B2C conversion ratio from the assigned territory.
  • Assist Divisional Director of Sales with the organization of trade shows and commercial events focusing on the luxury B2C market.
  • Execute an ongoing prospecting plan, adding new active end consumers to the portfolio of B2C.
  • Acquire a complete understanding of Belmond distribution channels and B2B approach, and work in collaboration with BCOs and PSTs whenever a third party is involved in a b2c booking process.
  • Maintain a clean database of all owned contacts, with all sales activities promptly logged into OSC.
  • Maintain a proactive role in social media and support the Corporate Marketing communications plan.
  • Attend and actively contribute to regular sales meetings organized by the Divisional Director of Sales, or by the London Corporate team, or by the direct manager.
  • Protect security and confidentiality of all guests, customers, employees and Company information.
  • Be knowledgeable of, implement, communicate and comply with the Company’s policies and Code of Conduct.
  • Be an ambassador of Belmond at all times.
  • At least 3 years of experience in private clienteling within the luxury segment
  • Must have a strong knowledge of the Luxury business.
  • Must possess strong selling skills and results oriented.
  • A conversationalist, resourceful and customer-focused.
  • Achieve familiarity with the properties and experiences offered by the Belmond portfolio
  • Able to understand, explain and carry out hotel procedures and processes.
  • Familiar with B2B distribution and standard commercial b2b strategies.
  • Master usage of available BI tools provided by Tableau.
  • Travel availability / mobility
  • Location São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro (home based)
  • Fluency in English
  • Spanish will be a plus
