POSITION OVERVIEW

F&B 575 LLC manages the food and beverage operations at Aman New York. At F&B 575 LLC, we embody the values of passion, trust, respect, teamwork, bespoke service, accountability, sustainability, and fun.

We are looking for Barista who will greet guests, take orders, prepare, and serve hot and cold beverages, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

 

This position is located at our Aman New York Property and has an hourly compensation rate of $16.00 plus tips.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet every guest with a friendly smile, positive attitude and takes their order if necessary
• Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
• Provide excellent service and build rapport with guests by learning names and favorite drinks
• Operate coffee equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Stock and replenish supplies as needed
• Answer guest questions about menu items and ingredients
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years’ experience in a luxury hotel environment or similar restaurant or café setting
• Positive, engaging, and energetic personality
• Able to be organized, manage time wisely and work with little to no direct supervision
• Very high attention to detail
• Sensitive to cultural nuances
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal on English
• Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, fast paced environment
• Excellent people skills and the ability to work under pressure and with various stakeholders
• Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policies
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Multi-lingual is a plus
