Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.About the Role
Four Seasons is seeking a Tennis Lounge Assistant to coordinate member and guest tennis reservations, execute retail sales, and handle POS transactions with efficiency and professionalism. This role is essential in ensuring maximum customer satisfaction while adhering to Four Seasons’ policies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional hospitality skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing a welcoming environment.
What You Will Do
- Handle member and guest tennis reservations in accordance with established policies, ensuring a friendly and efficient experience.
- Interact with members and guests with the highest level of hospitality, accommodating special requests and resolving complaints professionally.
- Assist with Sports Shop merchandise sales, aiming to exceed customer expectations and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Process all member and guest POS transactions in compliance with Four Seasons accounting procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the Tennis Lounge and courts, ensuring equipment is well-maintained.
- Collaborate harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors to foster a positive work environment.
- Assist with quarterly inventory counts as required by the Recreation Manager/Supervisor.
- Ensure accuracy of billing in relation to court reservations.
What You Bring
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hospitality or sports environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional service.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a cash bank.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage reservations and inventory effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and guest service requirements.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of personal appearance and hygiene.
